What makes a client count
A client counts once it is active and paying. Trials, credits and reversed payments do not.
Your tier is decided by one number: how many of the clients you introduced are active and paying. This is what that means precisely.
Counts
- A client on a paid subscription with a settled first payment.
- A client who lapses and returns — they count again from the month they resume.
Does not count
- Trials, and any period covered by credit rather than payment.
- A payment that was refunded or charged back — the client stops counting from the month the reversal lands.
- A client who has stopped paying, from the month they stop.
Why a client stopped counting
Every exclusion has a recorded reason, and it is shown in plain language on that client’s own page in the portal. If a number moved and you cannot see why, that page is where the answer is.
